A Wee Turkey

Today is the 5th Wednesday of the month, so we will have a regular Bacon Bits post, and then the new challenge and winners of the Baby-Themed Challenge will be revealed November 6!

Happy Hump Day!

Are you ready for Halloween tomorrow? For those of you who have kids, will you be trick or treating? I usually partake in this holiday with my kids, but this year, we have agreed to stay in, with the lights off and watch a movie together.  There are a couple of reasons for it - one, the boys now have braces and really can't enjoy the usual candies and already don't like the others, two, it is suppose to rain, and finally, we just want to do something completely different! :) How will you be spending the holiday?

Speaking of different, I am going to jump completely over Halloween and bring to you a creation for the next holiday in line - Thanksgiving.  Now, here's a holiday I love! Who doesn't? There is something so warm and cozy about Thanksgiving, don't you think?
I used Wee Henry Turkey for the main image and I just think he is the cutest!! He is colored in with Copics and cut out using a bookplate die.  He is then popped up over some fun paper by Little Yellow Bicycle's Acorn Hollow collection and coordinating stick pin.  I used a flourish die I had for an extra accent along with some metal gold dots and sheer ribbon.

Check out the funny Thanksgiving sentiments here  along with a darling Turkey image.  Thanks for stopping in for some Hoedown inspiration!
