"Fore You"
Hi all. well I am home from my little holiday all tanned..... and misquito bitten!!!! boo hoo, you can definitely have too much of sun, food and drinking!! crikey, every night, too much for me!! anyway, now I am where I am my happiest, in my little (and getting even smaller every week) craft room. I made this card a couple of weeks ago for the Try a new Technique challenge over at Splitcoaststampers, the challenge was to create a project incorporating the fringe technique. this card is super easy and quick and perfect for my dance teacher who is more mad on golf than he is on dancing. I have used the "Fore You" clear stamp set.

Come Hop With Us!
We're planning a Hambo Blog Hop - and we want you to join us!
We have a movie theme this time around, but not just any movie will do. Nope -- this time we want you to make a project featuring a pig's favorite actor .... Kevin BACON!!! (Get it??)
Using any Hambo image, rubber, clear or digital, create a project that represents and depicts any Kevin Bacon movie. He's been a prolific actor, so there are lots of movies to choose from, but if you get stuck, check out his resume on IMDB for a list of all of his work. Bet you'll see some movies you'd forgotten about! (Why, oh why, wasn't he in "Grease"??)
The hop is scheduled for Friday, April 11, and is set to go live at 8:00 AM EDT. All blog hop posts must stay at the top of the page for that whole day. A prize will be awarded to the customer whose Kevin Bacon homage tickles the Bacon Bits’ fancy the most! The winner will be announced on the Hoedown blog, as well as on the Hambo blog on Tuesday, April 15.
If you are interested in participating, please email Monica at hambodesignteam@gmail.com by 10:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, April 2. The blog hop order will be emailed to you by April 7, along with some tips for writing your blog post. Please sign up only if you are sure you can follow through with a project. We'd love to have you be a part of the cinematic fun!

Grandma's feather bed!!
I made this card for last weeks Try A New Technique challenge at Splitcoaststampers. The technique was to tear up little scraps of paper, glue them onto some cardstock, overlapping in places, stamp and emboss on it, then cut it into sections and add it to your project. It kinda reminds me of old fashioned quilts!! The king your Granny had on her big bed!! I have used the GERANIUM digital image from Hambo Stamps and colored it in with promarkers then matted and layered everything on a scrap piece of corrugated card that has had the gesso treatment.
