A CASE for Goodbyes......

Oh it is hard to say goodbye! We have LOVED working with the girls on the Bacon Bits team this term, and we will miss them! But the time has come to make a CASE for goodbyes....
THANK YOU
for being a part of the Hambo team these last four months.  We have loved every minute!
Leave them some love today on their blogs too!

And now to make a CASE! Our challenge this week is to CASE a card from the Hambo galleries!
Use any Hambo image and CASE (Copy And Share Everything) one of the designs you see on our website, either from the rubber galleries or the digital galleries (click on the links below):
Main Gallery (scroll down to see categories)
Digital Gallery - OR click on individual images in the Digital Image Store to see a sample.

In your blog post, or gallery description, please describe and share a link (it may be a whole page, or an individual card link) and/or the designer's name so that we can see what card you chose to CASE. You are also given permission to copy the card photo and share it on your blogs FOR THIS WEEK ONLY for purposes of inspiration, as long as you give credit to the designer (if listed) and Hambo Stamps.

Our new fun digi image for this week is DRAGONFLY:
This image is not available free, unless you played in last week's challenge and received it via email. Buy it HERE!
Everyone that followed last week's challengelinked a card to the blog post and emailed us a photo of their card on time received this week's background image FREE! So check your mailboxes! Images are sent by Wednesday mornings at 7 AM.

Click on each designer's name to see how they made their card and which Hambo gallery card they CASED! And then leave them some love as it is their last week in the Pig Pen!

NEW: ****Projects must be uploaded AND pictures emailed by MONDAY, October 3, at 10:00 PM CST to be eligible for Week 36's free digi image.****
We are unable to send out images if the new deadline isn't met. It takes a lot of time to send them out, and we appreciate you making the deadline!

From the depths of our hearts, we say THANK YOU to all of those who made a card (or two!) for Operation Write Home. We are grateful for your contribution to this worthy cause. Because we feel that EVERY card that was made is honoring our troops and will be so appreciated by them, we are not awarding a "Best in Show" this week. How can we choose a "best" when they will ALL be loved? You ALL are the best for helping out with the OWH card drive! We loved seeing all of the different submarine designs and locales, and all of the other Hambo images as well. Again, thank you so very much! Be sure to postmark your card TODAY if you want to have it sent to OWH and receive an EXTRA freebie!

We do have a Queen of the Hoedown this week, and our random drawing chose 14. Sandy T.  Congratulations! Grab the winner's button for your blog, and be sure to email Monica at info@hambostamps.com with your choice of any digi image from the store here.

A Special Kind of Challenge

Today is a very special challenge for us as we are teaming up with OPERATION WRITE HOME (Their blog: Stars and Stamps) to celebrate their birthday and send the cards we make this week to the TROOPS that protect and serve our country! Here is how this week's challenge works (please read carefully!):

1. Use Pig Sub (below) or ANY Hambo image for this week's challenge. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART is that you follow the Operation Write Home Card Guidelines listed HERE.  It is imperative that we follow the guidelines, so that the cards we send to OWH can be used by service members all over the world. Please read them carefully - including the part about glitter, handwritten sentiments, themes, and card size.
2. Link your card using inlinkz below, email a jpeg picture of it to us like always, and then send it (with a blank envelope) to Monica at:
Hambo Stamps
OWH Challenge
4907 W. Grace Street
Richmond, VA 23230-3609

Monica will then collect all the cards and send on to Operation Write Home!
3. Now, mailing your card to Monica is OPTIONAL. You can still play in the challenge, link up, and be eligible for our weekly prizes without mailing your card to be sent on. We realize that it will take some extra postage to mail to her, since it will need to be in a mailer that can hold a standard A2 sized card and envelope. HOWEVER, those that mail to her with YOUR CARD POSTMARKED by Wednesday, September 28, AND IF YOU INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS on a paper enclosed with the card, well ------ you will receive AN EXTRA FREEBIE for helping support our troops!

How fun is that?!!
This image is not available free, unless you played in last week's challenge and received it via email. Buy it HERE!
Isn't PIG SUB a fun image and sentiment for our challenge? I love it! Everyone that followed last week's challenge (and they were so creative!)linked a card to the blog post and emailed us a photo of their card on time received this week's image FREE! As always with our challenges, you can use ANY Hambo image and play along! Just follow the Challenge and you will be in the loop for next week's FREE digi! Don't have any Hambo images? Ah! The Crisp Air of Autumn!

Don't you just love when you wake up and know that it's Fall? Maybe not technically on the calendar yet, but by the air? There is a freshness about it that just wakes up all of my senses. That happened here last week. It was as if September came, and away went the humidity-laden 100 degree temperatures.  If you are not there yet, and are still in the throes of summer, imagine it! It will come soon~!

This week we are going to use the rich hues of Autumn to inspire us in our designs. I am not going to specify colors, because Autumn colors are different in different parts of the world -- but whatever colors you think of when you hear the word "Autumn" or "Fall" - use those! And for our image we will be using this cute set of FLOWERS:
This image is not available free, unless you played in last week's challenge and received it via email. Buy it HERE!
Today we have a Guest Designer with us! Please welcome Lucianna Dilsaver of Dilsaver Designs! Here is Lucianna's challenge card for this week:
And here is one of my favorite cards that Lucianna has made for past Hoedowns:
Be sure to stop at her blog and leave her some love! Thank you for joining us this week, Lucianna!

On with Autumn hues! Marcie made a colorful garden:

And Paula made a cute floral greeting:
Bonnie designed a birthday card:
What will you make? Remember, use ANY Hambo image on your project - just make sure you follow the theme! Link up, email us, and you will be back in the loop for the next free image!

To futher inspire you, take a look at this fall beauty by Bacon Bits Alumni Melissa Edwards, using one of our rubber images - Leaf Pig 3223:
Be sure to check out our full Autumn rubber stamp line HERE.

Last week we had such amazing cards!  We loved seeing everyone's creativity! Thank you all for playing along! Congratulations to 17. Lori Byrns  who was chosen as Queen of the Hoedown!
